After a two-year wait to attend, in person, the annual conference of the Ephemera Society of America, we got to spend a great day listening to presentations on the theme "Creating Spaces and Places," and then two days visiting with fellow ephemera dealers and collectors, including a fair where I found some fabulous paper rulers. I'll be showing some of my treasures in the next few posts, but here's the first.
Purchase -- Charles S. Bolick, Aiglatson, Framingham, MA, at Ephemera 42, in Old Greenwich, CT -- 19 March 2022
I'm almost certain that the State House in question is the Massachusetts State House, the building where I work. Unfortunately, the section of the first floor east wing where Room 113 is located is blocked off from foot traffic currently because of a construction project, so I couldn't visit the former location of the credit union.
This trade card was a purchase from Charles S. Bolick, whose Framingham, Massachusetts, ephemera business AIGLATSON (="nostaglia," spelled backwards) always has something for me.
It's good to be known as the "ruler lady"...
